The cat I’d had from childhood had died in the care of a boyfriend when I was away. I was beyond heartbroken. One day when my husband and I were about to take our two dogs out, I decided to go to the backyard. It’s more work to watch them but it’s more fun for them. We didn’t normally do it, but I felt they needed a...

Some might call it luck, others might say ‘what’s the big deal it’s just a cat?’. But here at Paradise Animal Rescue Inc., we call it a miracle! And true enough it is! Mama passed away the next...

I listened and heard faint meows, and saw eyes looking back at me. There was a cat tied to the soda machine. Then I saw a bag wrapped in a rubber band with a note. The note said, “need...

My friend Kim found a kitten along side of the road on her way to our house. The kitten somehow managed to push open the box and climb out the window while we were in the house. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find her. We figured she ran away and there was really nothing else we could do. She was no where to be found… until the next morning when Kevin started his truck...
Humane Society International Releases Animated Short Film About Cruel Reality Of Animal Testing
Animal testing is cruel and unnecessary. Rabbits are still used around the world to test shampoos, mascaras, sunscreen, and other beauty products. The innocent animals are locked in neck restraints and then have harsh chemicals dripped in their eyes and on their skin, which causes burning, irritation, and sometimes blindness. Once the experiment is complete, they are either used for another cruel test or euthanized. Photo: Pixabay Rabbits deserve better. Humane Society International (HSI) is taking a stand for the voiceless animals with the...
