We are always looking for passionate people to join the OC Shelter Pets Volunteer Team. Volunteers assist us by socializing animals, dog walking, pet grooming, photo shoots, and helping our kennel staff and adopters as needed. Volunteers are an integral part of our organization, we could never achieve what we do without the support of volunteers. We truly appreciate their choice to join our team in helping more animals find their forever homes. The valuable support and service volunteer provide is appreciated by the animals, staff, and our community!

Foster dog or cat parents and homes are a dire need for us to be able to save as many lives as possible from being humanely euthanized at the shelter… for space, a simple cough, or not getting any time out of their confined kennel. When you can’t adopt but are able and willing to open your heart and home for a pet in dire need please feel welcome and invited to enjoy this special journey with the dogs currently in our Orange County shelters.
