Robot Penguin Takes Incredible Footage Of Penguin Chicks Hatching At Their Father’s Feet

When we think of penguins, we probably picture the adorable little dancing penguins of Happy Feet. However, the tough and sarcastic little penguins of Penguins of Madagascar are probably a more accurate depiction of these black and white feathered animals. After all, penguins live in a frozen world where they have to be tough in order to survive the harsh environment. And as the BBC series, Penguins Spy in the Huddle shows, these penguins are quite intrepid – all from the moment of birth. Photo: YouTube / John Downer Productions The...

Woman Photographs Rare Pure-White Buck In Her Backyard

Nature is always giving us unique surprises so long as we are keeping our eyes open for them. And while staring out the window of her Boulder Junction, Wisconsin home, one woman was treated to a natural delight when she spotted a rare-colored buck. Rather than your usual beige-colored buck that roams the forest, Tracy Weese was lucky enough to spot a rare albino buck who was passing through her backyard. Even luckier, she was able to get some very brilliant photos of the buck as he meandered on through. Weese shared the pictures on Facebook,...

Rescued Kitten Carries Teddy Bear Everywhere To Help Her Feel Safe

An orphaned 10-day-old kitten was nearly frozen to death when she was found lying on the concrete floor of Indiana barn. Animal Sanctuary Holds Thanksgiving Feast Where Turkeys Are The Guests Not The Meal

Farm Sanctuary just hosted their annual Thanksgiving feast, “Celebration for the Turkeys”, where turkeys were the guests and not the main course. The tradition started in 1986 in a small backyard as a way to show people how intelligent and loving turkeys are. Each year the event grew and is now celebrated across the country. This year’s celebration included caregivers telling the stories of five rescue turkeys and giving a glimpse at what a day in the life of a turkey is like at the sanctuary.
