Surveillance Footage Shows The Mailman Pepper Spraying Cats
When you think of mail carriers, you probably think of someone who is friendly and greets people in the neighborhood. For the longest time, my family and I had a wonderful rapport with our mailman who would always stop and say hello whenever he brought the mail. He was beloved by our dog, who was sad when he eventually retired. For the most part, our mail carriers tend to like the animals they encounter in the neighborhoods. But this isn’t always the case. After surveillance video was released showing a mail carrier spraying two cats on...
Rope Bridge May Be Able To Save The World’s Rarest Primate From Extinction
As the Zoological Society of London has informed the public, the rarest ape in the world is the Hainan gibbon. Not only are they the globe’s rarest ape, they’re also the rarest primate and perhaps the rarest of mammal species in the world. Back in the 1950s, the Hainan gibbon had a population that was estimated to be about 2,000 strong. However, as of today, conservationists believe that there are roughly 30 left! The International Union for the Conservation of Nature has them officially listed as critically endangered. The Hainan...
Rescue Beaver Builds A “Dam” Inside Using Random Household Items
We all know that beavers build dams. It’s their defining skill. And these little architects of nature do a pretty good job of their work. However, it’s not every day that you see them in action as they build dams inside homes. But one extremely prolific baby beaver named Beave was caught on camera, hard at work. The little beaver was saved by a DEC licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist. Beave is still too young to be released into the wild, so he’s being cared for by the wildlife specialist. The Unlikely Friendship Between A House Cat And A Bearded Dragon
Cats are normally somewhat solitary animals. They don’t have a lot of friends. But every once in a while, they seem to vibe quite well with a fellow animal. And for Baby, an all-white cat, this cool new friend happened to be a female bearded dragon named Charles. The two besties are the prime example of how love and friendship transcend all species. Baby is three times the size of Charlies and could easily injure the little lizard if he wanted to, but instead, he’s more than happy to be best friends. Rather than doing anything to...
Raccoons Sneak In Through The Air Ducts To Break Into A Bank
Who has seen the movie, Penguins of Madagascar? Probably a good few of us. Well, the following story definitely gives me some strong Penguins of Madagascar vibes since it involves some animal bandits and a bank heist. On the 21st of October, a bank in California experienced their first-ever “robbery” by a duo of sneaky raccoons who were making their way through the building’s air ducts. The masked bandits ended up getting into a bit of a pickle when they fell through the ceiling tiles and onto the ground below where they...

Hero K-9 Finds Missing Toddler Who Disappeared From Iowa Home
When an Iowa toddler wandered away from his home, his family was understandably distraught. According to the Mason City Police Department, the 2-year-old boy had wandered away from their house with the family dog, and they had no idea where the pair had gone. The toddler’s disappearance led the local sheriff’s department to immediately call for backup, including a drone and multiple K-9s, to help canvass the search area. The boy had disappeared in a rural area with lots of places where a child could hide, so time was of the...
Owner Has Emotional Reunion With His Lost Dog After 3 Months Of Searching
I’m grateful that I’ve never had to experience the devastation of a pet running away from home. Unfortunately, there are some people out there who aren’t as lucky. Sometimes pets will come back home and sometimes they won’t. When they don’t return, it’s a very crushing blow. Rustico Sanson Jr. experienced the disheartening accident of his beloved pup, Coco, running away from home. When Coco got out, he left Rustico frantic to find him. The Philippines-based Rustico searched everywhere for Coco, but he kept...
Herd Of Capybaras Make The Strangest Sounds While Eating A Giant Pumpkin
2020 has been a pretty rough year. But here is something that is guaranteed to lighten up your day. It’s a lighthearted video starring a bunch of capybaras as they eat a pumpkin. Cute, right? It’s actually quite a fascinating thing to behold. The Nagasaki Biopark in Japan recently released the video of their capybaras as the hungry hoard destroyed a large, 110 pound pumpkin – that’s a lot of pumpkin! The giant rodents were excitable as they gathered around in order to devour the giant gourd, skin, seeds, pulp, and all....
Police Dog Has Official K-9 Badge Photo Taken In Full Uniform
As of Thursday, there is a new sheriff in town – and he’s absolutely adorable! The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida uploaded a post on their social media that featured their latest recruit: a precious pooch named Chico. Chico is the newest K-9 member of the Sheriff’s office. For his official badge picture, the pooch was dressed up in his very own uniform, complete with badges and patches. If that wasn’t sweet enough, the silly pup even had his tongue slightly sticking out as he posed for his photo beside...
