Southern Colorado Humane Society Needs Help After Taking In 132 Animals In One Day

Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is the largest animal shelter in southern Colorado and never turns a pet away. However, last Thursday they saw a large influx of animals and took in 132 in one day. The shelter is currently caring for nearly 600 animals and needed to utilize their emergency shelter kennels.
