According to the American Kennel Club, the breed was originally created to hunt badgers but has gone on to give the world so much more. Not only are dachshunds intelligent and witty, but they’re responsible for bringing us the Olympic’s first mascot, the phrase, “hot dog,” and the UK’s first-ever cloned dog among other...

The little foal, named Ben, didn’t know what to do or where to go without a mother. The pandemic was hard on all of us, including our pets. While some enjoyed seeing their humans more often as people transitioned to working from home, the stress of a big change still had its impact. Many pets were ripped out of their daily routines when dog boarders closed their doors, parks closed to the public, and life as we knew it changed. One five-year-old shepherd mix named Gem had experienced a drastic life change when the pandemic locked down Canada. The Winnipeg-based dog had been used to going to doggy daycare at HappyTails Pet...

Big Dog Objects To Getting His Nails Clipped In Hilarious Video
Dogs may not speak English, but they sure can communicate when they want to. For a large dog named Mister Brown, he’s learned the art of saying, “No!” to his owner when they pull out the nail clippers. I’ve had a few dogs, and one of them would go to her grave with long nails if we let her. She would throw the biggest fits when the nail clippers came out, but she was only 10lbs so there wasn’t much she could do about it. However, some bigger dogs are equally opposed to getting their nails clipped and it’s a...
