Abandoning a dog, no matter the reason, is against the law. However, shelters across the country are seeing more and more dogs abandoned outside their doors. Staff at Greenville Humane Society arrived on Sunday to find a pit bull mix tied to a pole with a handwritten note outside the shelter. For 70 years corgis have been roaming the halls of Buckingham Palace – but that is about to change.
