Emaciated Horse And Miniature Hinny With Overgrown Hooves Rescued From Colorado Farm

Fremont County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check on two horses in Howard, Colorado, and found one emaciated horse and a miniature Hinny (cross between donkey and horse) with extremely overgrown hooves. The owner surrendered the horses to Colorado Humane Society who brought them to Dumb Friends League Harmony Equine Center to be rehabilitated.
