“Pet” Tiger Cub Found Outside During Texas’ Deep Freeze Gets New Home At Wildlife Sanctuary

A catastrophic winter storm recently swept across Texas leaving millions without power amid below-freezing temperatures. Countless animals needed to be rescued from the cold, including a six-month-old “pet” tiger. Bexar County Sheriff’s Office received many calls about animals left out in the harsh conditions and urged residents to keep their pets warm by bringing them inside. “If it is too cold for you to be outside, it is probably too cold for your pets! Please bring pets indoors and keep them safe and warm,”...

Rare Mekong River Irrawaddy Dolphins Are Nearly Extinct, But There Is Hope

The small freshwater Mekong River Irrawaddy dolphins are noted for their uniquely shaped round heads and short dorsal fins. They are like no other dolphin on Earth, and could soon be extinct. In fact, only about 89 of these animals remain alive, living in an 118-mile stretch of the Mekong River between Cambodia and Laos. Though their entire species is contained in a single pinpoint on a map of the world, these dolphins are still facing threats from human activity. People Are Sharing Pictures Of Snakes Wearing Hats And It’s Too Adorable

Snakes are not inherently cuddly. In fact, there is nothing immediately charming about snakes. Perhaps it’s a lack of fur or the flicking tongue, but for the most part, snakes are a bit scary. But then you throw a hat on them and they suddenly become so endearing to look at. To be honest, going through some of the pictures on social media makes me less apprehensive about snakes – but only if they’re wearing a hat. The headwear is key because there is something so cute and charming about a snake in a hat. And below, are so...

Cat Receives A Complaint Letter From HR For Disrupting His Parents Who Work From Home

2020 was a historic year for many reasons. But perhaps one of the biggest headlines to come out of 2020 was the COVID-19 pandemic which saw many of us have to adjust to a life spent mostly indoors in our homes. Personally, I love working from home. It has many upsides for many people – mostly getting to spend time with loved ones, including our furry family members. And while working from home with pets can be a blessing, it can also be a curse when you’re trying to get work done but they just won’t leave you alone. Every...

Dog Follows The Kids To School And Ends Up In The Principal’s Office

Dogs have an unwavering loyalty to their families. This is one of their many fine attributes, and one of the reasons why they are often referred to as being “man’s best friend.” But sometimes, their loyalty can get them into trouble. For one Labradoodle, he ended up getting sent to the principal’s office because of it! Sandy has been with Karen Manthey’s family since puppyhood. Because of this, he has a very deep sense of love and loyalty for all members of his family, particularly the Manthey children. Photo:...

The world is made up of all kinds of adorable animal friendships. But perhaps one of our favorites happens to be Heidy and Loulou. Their behavior in the video is pretty standard of their friendship. Heidy and Loulou love to play around and chase one another – that is until Loulou has had her fill and jumps back into the river.
